It is skilled technical work, and the quality of the source file directly affects how accurately and efficiently it can be done.

Why a PNG Makes the Digitizer's Job Harder

A PNG gives the digitizer a pixel-based image. They can see what the logo looks like, but they cannot click on individual shapes or pull color information directly. They have to interpret the design and manually map stitch paths based on what they see.
