Convert AI-Generated Images to Clean, Print-Ready Vector Artwork

Generated artwork can look great on screen but still have rough edges, distorted lettering, attached backgrounds, or detail that breaks down in print. VectorFixer manually cleans, rebuilds, and prepares your downloaded image as scalable vector artwork and transparent files for the agreed job.

Manual artwork preparation. Scope and delivery confirmed before work starts.

A good-looking image is not the same as a usable production file

Your design may only exist as a JPG or PNG. Enlarging it exposes fuzzy boundaries, malformed shapes, uneven geometry, stray artifacts, and unintended color changes. The background may be attached, and the printer may need SVG, EPS, PDF, or editable vector artwork instead.

What VectorFixer does

AI generated the image. VectorFixer makes the artwork usable. We review your downloaded file and its intended use, then clean, rebuild, recreate, or simplify what needs attention. This service covers artificially generated images, not conversion of Adobe Illustrator .ai documents.

Supported files

  • Send: JPG, PNG, a screenshot, or the downloaded image you have
  • Possible vector deliverables: SVG, Adobe Illustrator AI, EPS, or PDF
  • Possible raster deliverable: transparent PNG at the agreed dimensions
  • File formats are confirmed with the quote. Not every job includes every format.

More than an automatic trace.

An automatic trace can copy the flaws already in the image. Excessive anchor points, jagged paths, rough curves, malformed lettering, overlapping geometry, and tiny unusable shapes can leave a file that is technically vector but difficult to produce.

The right fix depends on the artwork. Some parts need cleanup; others need to be rebuilt. We do not redraw every image from scratch when a more focused correction is enough.

Manual judgement, where it matters

  • Rebuild shapes and redraw curves instead of following every fuzzy pixel
  • Repair malformed elements, outlines, and uneven spacing
  • Separate colors and remove unintended color variations
  • Clean boundaries, stray shapes, and inconsistent edges
  • Simplify detail that will not reproduce at the intended size
  • Remove attached backgrounds and prepare transparent output

It doesn’t matter where you generated it.

Send the JPG, PNG, screenshot, or downloaded image you already have.

That might be artwork from ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, Gemini, Ideogram, Flux, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, or a similar image generator.

These are examples of image sources, not software integrations. We work from the file you send; we do not connect to your account or retrieve images from the generator.

AI-generated logos need more than a larger export.

Warped lettering, broken curves, asymmetry, inconsistent shapes, excessive detail, and backgrounds that are not really transparent can make an AI logo hard to use. We can rebuild the usable design into simpler, editable artwork.

If the text is unreadable or invented, send the exact wording. We can discuss recreating it or using suitable lettering, but cannot promise to recover text that never existed clearly in the source.

Apparel artwork needs a production brief

An image that looks good on a phone screen is not automatically ready for a T-shirt. Edges, colors, fine detail, transparency, and final dimensions need to suit the job.

DTF, DTG, and screen printing have different requirements. Some jobs need vector color separations; others may need a correctly sized transparent raster file. Send your decorator’s instructions rather than assuming one export works for every method.

Rigor Mortis: AI Illustration Recreated

The AI-generated design combined detailed skeletons, tropical scenery, and pale lettering around the illustration.

Recreated the illustration and surrounding text, retaining the scene while changing the outer lettering to black.

From your file
to the right files.

A clear scope before work starts. A useful set of files when it is done.

  1. Send the starting point

Your best image, the intended use, and any instructions from the printer. Technical terms are optional.

  2. Agree on the work

The artwork is reviewed, then the price, formats, and delivery date are confirmed before starting.

  3. Receive usable artwork

The shapes are redrawn or cleaned, checked, and exported for the agreed job. Keep the source files for next time.

AI Image to Vector Conversion questions

Not sure what your file needs?
Ask with your artwork.

Can every AI-generated image be converted to vector?

Not every image is a good fit for a full vector rebuild. Photographic, textured, painterly, or gradient-heavy artwork may need simplification, partial recreation, or a raster workflow. We review the image and explain the practical options before quoting.

Will the vector look exactly like the AI image?

The aim is to retain the useful design while correcting production problems. Simplification or reconstruction may change some details. We agree on those changes first; an identical vector version of every pixel is not a realistic promise.

Can you convert AI-generated logos?

Yes, where the design can be usefully rebuilt. We can clean shapes, curves, outlines, spacing, and backgrounds. Please supply the exact brand wording and identify any elements that must stay unchanged.

Can you remove the background?

Yes, when the artwork can be separated cleanly from it. Complex edges or detail merged into the background may require reconstruction. Background removal is confirmed as part of the scope.

Can you provide a transparent PNG?

Yes, if included in the agreed deliverables. Tell us the required dimensions and use. PNG is a raster format, so it still needs adequate resolution even when its background is transparent.

Can AI artwork be prepared for printing?

Often, but the file must suit the print method, size, colors, and vendor requirements. We prepare the agreed artwork rather than promising that one file will work for every production process.

Can you simplify very complicated AI artwork?

Yes. Small textures, excessive detail, and overlapping shapes can be simplified where appropriate. We discuss what to retain and what can change before rebuilding the design.

What file formats can I receive?

Possible deliverables include SVG, Adobe Illustrator AI, EPS, PDF, and transparent PNG. The project and quote determine the actual package; every format is not automatically included.

Can you fix AI-generated text?

We can rebuild lettering where practical using wording you confirm. Unreadable or invented characters cannot be reliably recovered from the image alone, and some lettering may need to be recreated rather than matched exactly.

Can you prepare AI artwork for embroidery?

We can prepare and simplify artwork for an embroidery digitizer. A vector file is not a stitch file and is not automatically embroidery-ready. Your digitizer still needs to create the machine file, such as DST or PES, for the chosen size, fabric, and thread.
